Kieko began her career in marketing at a US-based computer software company and then joined McCann Erickson Japan as an account executive, working on numerous branding, IMC, international sponsorship and events projects for global blue-chip clients.
She continued to build her expertise at IPG Mediabrands and other agencies within IPG. She then joined the marketing communications department of a UK-based global technology company, where she was the hub for the brand and global creative teams and managed the brand and media agencies, including fee control. In February 2015, she returned to the IPG family by joining Momentum Japan as Global Account Lead, supporting global brands with their launch in Japan. Since 2019, she has been actively using her experience to support staff training and building the Momentum brand as Chief Agency Marketing & Communications and Staff Development Officer. She also led Momentum Japan in acquiring the ISO 14001 and ISO20121 certification in coordination with the global office.
She is also active as Chairperson of the IPG Women’s Leadership Network Japan Chapter, an IPG Group-wide organization that promotes the advancement of women and a great place to work. In April 2024, she was appointed Corporate Communications Director at McCann Worldgroup Holdings Japan.
