As Managing Director of Momentum Japan, David brings more than 25 years of experience in client and agency leadership roles across the UK, US, and Japan. He specializes in creating brand experiences that resonate with local audiences while aligning with global strategies.
David began his professional career in London, working in CRM and pioneering internet ventures, before moving to Japan in 2002 to join Momentum. Since then, he has been instrumental in growing the agency and evolving its products and services across martech, in-person and digital branded experiences.
Before he was appointed Managing Director in 2025, David led large, cross-agency multidisciplinary teams for Fortune 500 clients, including Johnson & Johnson and Mastercard. From 2013 to 2014, he was based in Atlanta as VP of Shopper Marketing, where he developed strategic co-marketing programs between Coca-Cola brands and major national retailers.
He holds a BA in Tourism from the Universitat de Girona (Spain) and an MSc in Strategic Marketing from the University of Surrey (UK).
Outside of marketing, he co-leads the Tokyo Catalonia Society, a non-profit that supports the Catalan community and promotes Catalan culture and language in Japan.
Appointed to the managing director in July 2025.
