Coming from a medical device background, Junji joined McCann Health in 1999. In the following years, he played an increasingly vital leadership role across countless new product launches, additional indications and DTC campaigns for a broad range of clients. Covering diverse target audiences, the outputs of these projects range from planning and execution of HCP communications to patient adherence programs and disease awareness campaigns for the general public. Following a 2-year secondment to McCann Health New York, Junji returned to Tokyo in 2015 to oversee the overall company operations as RX Chief Operating Officer. With the opening of the Osaka Branch Office of McCann Health in January 2017, Junji has taken on additional responsibilities as General Manager of the Osaka Branch Office to grow the company from strength to strength. Junji was appointed Managing Director in April 2018, and has assumed the position of Representative Director, President as of April 1st, 2021.
