Ji is a seasoned executive with over 25 years’ global experience in finance and marketing. She moved to Japan in 2017 as EVP, CFO of McCann Worldgroup APAC based in Tokyo to oversee financial management and stewardship of Asia Pacific markets. In addition, in 2020 she was appointed Representative Director of McCann Worldgroup Holdings Japan Inc. and was promoted to CEO in October 2021.
Ji began her professional career at Turner International, Inc., in a marketing role overseeing the distribution of programming to international broadcasters. She then joined The Coca-Cola Company where she rose to the position of Director, Global Agency Management in the Global Marketing Division. After 10 years with The Coca-Cola Company, Ji joined Samsung Electronics as Director of Brand Strategy Group within the Global Marketing Operation in Seoul.
Prior to joining McCann Worldgroup in 2015, she spent over 7 years at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide based in New York responsible for the financial and commercial leadership of multiple global accounts.
She holds a BBA in accounting from Oglethorpe University, and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, both in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ji is an avid yogi and a Pokémon trainer. She also enjoys visiting various places in Japan, and spending time with her husband and their adopted adorable Japanese Yorkie.
